SWAT 2 is a 30-scenario real-time strategy game, which can be played either as SWAT or a terrorist organization. The 30 scenarios are divided into 15 scenarios for each side, and each scenario begins with a short animated video. Swat 2 puts the player in the role of a police sharp shooter. The SWAT series is one of the better sniper games out there, requiring more from the player than simple head shots. Many levels include mini puzzles which must be figured out to accomplish the mission. In many cases you must shoot other objects and items in a certain order to proceed.

An excellent tactical game. The controls are challenging to master, but once done the game opens up to a vast array of opportunities. Debriefing screen is awesome, with an actual former SWAT officer telling you what you did right and wrong.
Also perhaps the most unique feature in today’s PC industry, the game actually lets you play the terrorist side as well. Be warned, however. The missions raise substantially in difficulty as you will always be outnumbered and outgunned. Use traps and human shields responsibly!
If you buy it, get it from GoG. For the same price you get the first game in the series as well.
