In this game, the player drives throughout Bikini Bottom in the Patty Wagon to collect King Neptune's many missing crowns. It includes many tasks that are performed to complete the game.

The game is mainly the movie's plot, although, there is of course differences. The game only covers up to the Monster Filled Trench scene. Most scenes where SpongeBob and Patrick are on foot, or scenes not featuring them, are deleted. This is most likely because it is a driving game. There is also more than one crown. Also,Jellyfish Fields and Goo Lagoon do not appear in the movie, but do here. Finally, The Thug Tug and Monster Filled Trench are part of Bikini Bottom in the game.

The player mainly uses the keyboaerd to navigate through the city and collect crowns that are scattered everywhere(even inside jellyfish!). They also have to complete challenges, which are unlocked by paying crowns. Most are timed driving challenges, where extra time is gained by collecting an object, usually crowns. Although, some games require clicking on something to cause an affect. The player has three strikes, which are lost if one of these thing is not clicked on.

Unused Graphics

In the minigame where you must whack the squires, there's an unseen part of their animation where they retreat. After blowing their trumpet, they just disappear.

loadingsp.t.png is an unused loading sign.

targethotsp.add.png and targetcoldsp.add.png are targets for an unknown mission. According to their filenames, the green one is 'hot' and the red one is 'cold.' objectssquirewhack.txt and objectsgoofydancing.txt use the words 'hot' and 'cold' in them, suggesting this cursor would have been used in the whack the squires and Goofy Goober minigames.
