So, I’ve been amiss these last few days, but with good reason. I’ve been acquainting myself with my new pet Panther. In any event, I think that the new features and capabilites of the system are great. I am running it on a G3 900MHz iBook with 384 MB RAM and there is just a noticeable uptick in performance. Let it suffice to say that, once installed (I installed it with the UNIX file system, nostalgia as a former UNIX user; read:GEEK) and the whole thing just runs swimmingly. Exposé is a lifesaver for those of you working on a laptop, my little 12″ definitely benefits from it. In short, taking away many, if not all of the sources of my frustration in dealing with macs that I’ve had in the past, I am really starting to see the benefits of my Mac and, as such, have really begun to use it a lot more.
