Jul 22, 2011 I've owned the Duet for years. Never had that problem. It does sound like a hardware issue. As an added update, it appears as though Duet is not compatable with Lion. A solid blue led indicates that ensemble is locked to the clock source chosen in software control and that the firewire connection is valid. Update: I just went to a music store and borrowed an apogee duet. So far everything seems to work fine with on my Lenovo Thinkpad E460 running Windows 10. Driver install went smoothly and so far no problems. Latencies are pretty low, but not exceptionally so. I can set the buffer size to 128 samples without dropouts.
